Only 13% road projects awarded during FY10 Against the target of awarding projects for a total length for about 9,800 km under various phases of National Highways Development Project (NHDP) during 2009-10, projects have been awarded for a total length of about 1,285 km up to November 2009 according to the Economic survey. Sara Lee Corp has a 51% stake in GSLL, while Godrej holds the rest. The unlisted Indian JV owns the Good Knight, jet, Hit and british brands.

Titan plans to add 40 outlets by Mar 2010 Titan Industries plans to argument its store network across India by adding nearly 40 Titan stores by Mar 2010. Company's COO Harish Bhat said, 'We plan to add 40 stores, half would be co-owned and the balance franchisee-stores. For our 'World of Titan' stores, we have earmarked Rs 50-lakh per store. Titan has identified Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Salem, Pune and Madurai among other locations for setting up its stores.

Audi's Q5 to hit Indian roads in June Audi will launch its latest SUV 'Q5' here in June besides giving a facelift to its existing sedan 'A6'. 'The only SUV in India from our stable is 'Q7', which is doing good even in the current situation. But still some people prefer a smaller SUV and because of this, we have decided to offer Q5 in the indian market,' Audi spokesperson said. In June this year, they plan to launch only 2 varients of 'Q5' here. These vehicles will be sold as a completely-built-unit and will be exported from the company's Ingolstadt facility.
