Location, Area & Management

The BMC garden is located in Nathpai nagar, Ghatkopar (East), Survey no. 236A, covering an area of 29000 square meters (approx. 7 acres); a vast area with lots of trees and greenery. Presently The Guru Singh Sabha, Dadar is maintaining it. The BMC offers it's garden for development and maintenance on lease for a period of 5 years. This is their second term which expires on October 2007.

The local residents and senior citizens of the area are not at all happy with the management of the garden. Hence the residents are against any further extension of the term to Guru Singh Sabha. Senior Citizens & Save Garden Committee have been negotiating with various parties regarding the maintenance of the BMC garden. A prominent NGO, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Vashi (HO. Kolkatta) with the active support of Senior Citizens & Save Garden committee have come forward to takeover the maintenance and development of the BMC garden after the expiry of this term.

Demand 'We want our Garden back'

The local residents are demanding the garden back. They wish to manage it on their own with support from NGO. Their main complaint is that it is a mockery in the name of the garden. It is dirty, with no basic amenities like walking pathway, drinking water and toilet facilities. The children's park is still worse. The Sabha and the local politicians have just been making promises. Nothing concrete has been done to improve the condition of the garden. On the whole, one witnesses gross mismanagement and total misuse of public property.

The residents have made a genuine effort to get the garden back. A signature campaign was recently carried out. Shortly a fresh application will be made to the BMC jointly by Senior Citizens & Save Garden Committee and Bharat Sevashram Sangha for maintenance and development of the BMC garden - 'Vatika'.

Denver Airport -- True Story

This is hilarious. I wish I had the guts of this girl. For all of you out there who've had to deal with an irate customer, this one is for you. It's a classic! An award should go to the United Airlines gate agent in Denver for being smart and funny, while making her point, when confronted with a passenger who probably deserved to fly as cargo. A crowded United Airlines flight was canceled. A single agent was rebooking a long line of inconvenienced travelers. Suddenly an angry passenger pushed his way to the desk. He slapped his ticket on the counter and said, "I HAVE to be on this flight and it has to be FIRST CLASS."

The agent replied, "I am sorry, sir. I'll be happy to try to help you, but I've got to help these folks first, and I'm sure we'll be able to work something out."

The passenger was unimpressed. He asked loudly, so that the passengers behind him could hear, "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO I AM?"

Without hesitating, the agent smiled and grabbed her public address microphone, "May I have your attention please," she began, her voice heard clearly throughout the terminal. "We have a passenger here at Gate 14 WHO DOES NOT KNOW WHO HE IS. If anyone can help him find his identity, please come to Gate 14."

With the folks behind him in line laughing hysterically, the man glared at the United agent, gritted his teeth and swore "F*** You!".

Without flinching, she smiled and said, "I'm sorry, sir, but you'll have to get in line for that too.

On the marriage anniversary the wife asked, 'what is the one thing you would love, to happen again'.

The husband immediately replied, 'to be a bachelor'.

Charges as per weight

A German hotel owner who charges guests according to their weight defended himself against accusations that he was discriminating against fat people. Juergen Heckrodt said the 50 cents ($0.64 cent) per kg rate he charges is competitive for local three-star hotels and added there is a 74-euro ($94) limit for a double room for those who refuse to get on the scale. “It’s not discrimination at all,” Heckrodt said. “No one has refused to climb the scale. Nevertheless, no one has yet to say ‘no, forget that’.” He said that some guests strip down to try to save money.

Release Your Tension Through Meditation

The moment you are in tension
You will lose your attention
Then you are in total confusion
And you will feel irritation
Then you will spoil personal relation
Ultimately you won't get co-operation
Then you will create complication
Then your BP may rise caution
And you may have to take medication
Instead understand the situation
And try to think about solution
To get real freedom from tension
You have to undergo spiritual education
And learn Rajyoga meditation
Which is soul and God communication
You need to have determination
To make time for divine contemplation
Because only meditation can replace medication
Which will bring real relaxation
Of mind and body, to have satisfaction.

Thank God

Uninvited
I went to a temple
And God wasn't there.

They say,

He's gone fishing,

or  relaxing in a five star

or strolling on the beach

For he too must rest.

But the priest

Am told, is acting God.

Thank God, God is a stone

I wonder,

What they would do

If he was real .

A Needle Can Save LIFE of a STROKE PATIENT!!!??
First Aid for Stroke
Keep a syringe or needle in your home to do this...

It ' s amazing and an unconventional way of recovering from stroke, read it through it can help somebody 1 day.

This is amazing, if it works. Please keep this very handy...

Excellent tips. Do take a minute to read this. You ' ll never know. One ' s life may depend on you.

My father was paralyzed and later died from the result of a stroke. I wish I knew about this first aid before. When a stroke strikes, the capillaries in the brain will burst gradually. When a stroke occurs, stay calm. No matter where the victim is, do not move him/her. If the victim is moved, the capillaries in the brain will burst. Help the victim to sit up where he is to prevent him from falling over again, and then the bloodletting can begin.

If you have in your home an injection syringe that would be the best, otherwise, a sewing needle or a straight pin will do. Place the needle/pin over fire to sterilize it, and then use it to prick the tip of all 10 fingers.

There are no specific acupuncture points, just prick about one mm from the fingernail. Prick till blood comes out. If blood does not start to drip, then squeeze with your fingers. When all 10 fingernails is bleeding, wait for a few minutes until the victim regain consciousness.

If the victim ' s mouth is crooked, then pull on his ears until they are red. Then prick each ear lobe twice until two drops of blood comes from each ear lobe. After a few minutes, the victim should regain consciousness.

Wait until the victim regains his normal state. If he does not show any abnormal symptoms, take him to the hospital. Otherwise, if he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, the bumpy trip to the hospital could cause all the capillaries in his brain to burst.

I learned about bloodletting to save life from Chinese traditional doctor Ha Bu-Ting who lives in Sun-Juke. Furthermore, I had practical experience with it. Therefore I can say this method is 100% effective. In 1979, I was teaching in Fung-Gaap College in Tai-Chung. One afternoon I was teaching class when another teacher came running to my class room and said in panting, "Mr. Liu, come quick, our supervisor has had a stroke!."

I immediately went to the 3rd floor. When I saw our supervisor, Mr.Chen Fu-Tien,
his color was off, his speech was slurred, his mouth was crooked-all the symptoms of a stroke.

I immediately asked one of the practicum students to go to the pharmacy outside the school to buy a syringe, which I used to prick Mr. Chen ' s 10 fingers tips. When all 10 fingers were bleeding (each with a pea-sized drop of blood), after a few minutes, Mr. Chen ' s face regained its color and his eyes ' spirit returned, too.
But his mouth was still crooked. So I pulled on his ears to fill them with blood.

When his ears became red, I pricked his right earlobe twice to let out 2 drops of blood. When both earlobes had two drops of blood each, a miracle happened.

Within 3-5 minutes, the shape of his mouth returned to normal and his speech became clear. We let him rest for a while and have a cup of hot tea, then we helped him go down the stairs, drove him to Wei-Wah Hospital .

He rested one night and was released the next day to return to school to teach. Everything worked normally. There were no ill after-effects. On the other hand, the usual stroke victim usually suffers irreparable bursting of the brain capillaries on the way to the hospital. As a result, these victims never recover. If he survived the stroke, chances are, the damaged capillaries in the brain could cause him disabilities and he would remain paralyzed for the rest of his life.

Therefore, stroke is the second cause of death.

It is such a horrible thing to happen to anybody. If we can all remember this bloodletting method and start the life-saving process immediately, we may save the victim.. The victim will be revived from the stroke. We may also save him from paralysis and he may regain 100% normality.

We hope you can tell others about this first aid method. Someday, stroke may be removed from the list of major causes of death.
